In my childhood, a troll was simply the monster under the bridge. Today on the internet, it’s the entity that wonders from site to site looking for something to complain about and tear down all for the sake of disrupting the forum’s purpose. Trolling is in effect a type of complaint.
Complaining will end gratitude, drain creative energy and bog down relationships. It will take the sweetness out of anything. No wonder we are instructed against it. So what do you put in its place? I love the old hymn Count Your Many Blessings. A sure antidote to the complaining spirit.
