A New Office for Mom!

When my husband and I were first married, we shared the extra room as an office space. In one house we lived in there was enough space in the basement to have a craft area, but we continued to share office space. We even shared a computer at that point.

Eleven years ago, my office joined the homeschooling space. I’ve been tuning out noise in order to write ever since. Now that my son has joined the Marines, I am taking over his bedroom and turning it into my own office space. Come on in and see the transformation.

Most recently, this has been my office space in the middle of the living room.

Now, welcome to my new place!

BEFORE:
(And this is on a good day in my son’s room!)

AFTER:
(Still in progress, but much better!)
This is my first week to write in my new office. It’s great!
What transformations have you made in your house?

  1. I'm so glad you have your own office space…and I'm betting, more living room space. Have fun decorating and placing everything for writing creativity. As for the question you posed, well, I think the you know my answer. <>
