“He [God] is passionate, capable of the highest joy and the deepest sorrow.
To know Him is to share His passions, but how dare we think we know
Him when we have become inured to people dying without Jesus.

Can those who do not know Jesus hear the Father tearfully pleading through us?”
From: LiveDead Joy Devotional (August 20)
All around us, there are people dying without Jesus.
Often among the very ones who hurt us, offend us, sin against us, take what is ours, and -generally speaking- behave badly toward us are those who do not yet know Jesus.
How do I respond? Is my heart in sync with the Father’s?
Do I back off in awkward discomfort? Or engage in demonstrating God’s love to them?
Do I insult back? Or do I speak life?
Do I angrily demand my rights? Or do I seek peace in the situation?
Do I seek vengeance? Or do I forgive?
Do I complain? Or do I bless them?
Do I gossip about them? Or do I come alongside and help them up?
Do I complain about them? Or thank God for the opportunity to share His love?
Am I more concerned with my comfort than I am with that person knowing God?
My sin is no less than theirs. Christ died for ALL, that all would have a way to the Father. Who am I to stand in their way of them coming to Christ?
